Professional experience
Tracy has had a varied and fulfilling career in policing, where, as a senior leader, she benefitted from world class leadership training and development, and utilised these skills leading teams in crime investigation, community safety, organisational development and transformational change. Two changes of career enabled Tracy to identify her transferrable skills, and employ those firstly in the role of Programme Director of multi-million pound change programmes, and latterly in designing, establishing and leading a brand new Change Management function in a respected Higher Education institution.
When you attend a coaching session, workshop or training event with Tracy, you are drawing on the learning from years of practical experience in day to day leadership, and the delivery of large scale strategic and transformational change, supported by extensive research. Tracy is passionate about lifelong learning and continuing personal and professional development.

My coaching ethos
Executive coaching is a leadership development process that builds a leader’s capability to achieve short and/or long-term goals. It is conducted through one-on-one interactions, may rely on multiple sources of information drawn upon by the client, and is based on mutual trust and respect. The client and the executive coach work in partnership to achieve maximum learning and impact.
Leadership is not easy. It can be fulfilling and rewarding, but also lonely and stressful. Authentic leadership requires honesty, and a willingness to recognise the impact you have on others, how you can be the best leader you can be, and when you need help and support to improve, identify your goals, recognise the challenges, and take some time to reflect.
Using a selection of tools, techniques and ideas, balanced with the wisdom and experience of many years in strategic leadership roles, I can support you to identify and achieve your goals and objectives.
Built on mutual respect and trust, you can be assured of confidentiality and discretion, but also challenge and intervention to help you take a different perspective or find the resources to achieve your aims.
What do my clients think?
Tracy is working with senior members of our leadership team through coaching and
mentoring, and this has hugely contributed to the alignment of the senior team to the organisational needs. I would highly recommend Tracy if you want to increase the positive working relationships of your team… for moving the organisation forward and significantly contributing to the positive culture.
HR Director, June 2020
I have made significant progress in the way I now try to approach certain situations…
stepping back and taking time to consider and reflect… I really want to continue on this journey for a while longer and continue to develop personally and professionally.
University Registrar, July 2020
Several very useful discussions allowing me to clarify and improve my thinking in areas
of leadership and management… useful ‘hooks’ to frame and clarify situations rather than direct advice: a welcome and helpful approach… developed a trusting and effective relationship conducive to open and frank discussion.
Chief Academic Officer, May 2020
Tracy’s approach builds trust and so when she did challenge my thinking, I felt she was understanding the situation I was in and I appreciated the different/new approaches she suggested I consider.
Director of Fundraising, Feb 2019
Inevitably, sharing as part of the coaching process can make you feel a bit vulnerable but the process was very supportive and reassuring. The opportunity to pause and reflect was immensely positive particularly in a new and challenging role.
Senior Leader in Policing, Feb 2019
One of the challenges with making decisions is that it is hard to imagine life being different. Tracy challenged me to think through the reality of a particularly big decision, helping me realise that this new reality was really positive and to make the decision I needed to make.
Senior Leader in Higher Education, Feb 2019
Tracy is an excellent facilitator and gave valuable insight throughout the day.
Very confident and experienced facilitator.
Clear, compassionate, patient. Allowed people to ‘vent’ and talk about experiences but also provided opportunity for people to reflect and be practical.
